Wells Info

The well page contains all of the information we have on a well. It has two sections: information, and files.

Information

This section contains digital information provided to us by the DEC. Field names are presented on the left, values on the right. A number of the values can be selected as the basis for a search (e.g. all wells in the town). There are a couple special values:

  • Map: The values Google, Bing, or MapQuest to display that location on each site's mapping service, respectively.
  • Nearby Wells link is the basis for a search of all wells within 1, 5, 10, and 15 mile squares centered on the current well, respectively.
  • Same Hole: Shows a list of wells that have the same physical hole.

File Download

The files section of a well profile page displays all of the associated files for a well. With each file listing there are two columns with the headings "Save" and "Cart". The "Save" link enables you to download the file. The "Cart" link enables you to add the file to your ZipCart.

Some file names will be crossed out, which indicates that the current subscription level does NOT include access to the listed file.
